The annual Parkinson's Unity Walk in New York City is the single largest Parkinson's walk in the United States. In the past, over 10,000 people from all over the world have joined to take a walk in New York City's Central Park. At each Unity Walk, one individual is given the "Alan Bonander Humanitarian Award" in recognition of their exemplary contribution to the Parkinson's Community. I am very proud and honored to say I received this award in April 2011.
